Navigating Local Authorities, Schools, Colleges & Universities
Sometimes it's very difficult to access the right support and know where to look and what the right support looks like.
I know this myself as a neurodivergent parent to SEND children. This is extremely difficult and sometimes I felt overwhelmed with knowing which would be the best support for us.
It might be that you are struggling to navigate the SEND system, whether that is in a school, college, university or with the local authority. It might be not knowing where to go for a diagnosis. It might be after a diagnosis that you don't know what's next and what you are entitled to.
Knowing your rights and what you are entitled to can massively help. Understanding how the whole process works, the expected timelines and what you can reasonably expect can make a significant difference.
